Research in the Gsaller Lab focuses on cellular effects of antifungal drugs and genetic determinants underlying antifungal resistance in A. fumigatus. By integrating genetic, microbiological, molecular biology, biochemical, and cell biology approaches, we aim to elucidate mechanisms of antifungal drug action and mutations as well as cellular responses that mitigate antifungal activity.
